Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Salesforce Data Cloud QA Engineer to validate data ingestion, transformation, harmonization, identity resolution, segmentation, calculated insights, integrations, and end-to-end customer data flows within Salesforce Data Cloud.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute test strategies and test cases for Salesforce Data Cloud implementations.
  • Validate Data Streams, DLOs, DMOs, Data Spaces, Data Graphs, and data mappings.
  • Perform end-to-end testing of data ingestion from Salesforce and external systems.
  • Validate data transformations, mappings, normalization, and harmonization.
  • Test Identity Resolution rules, matching rules, reconciliation rules, and unified profiles.
  • Validate Calculated Insights and derived customer attributes.
  • Test segmentation and activation processes.
  • Validate integrations between Data Cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and external applications.
  • Perform API testing for REST and other integration interfaces.
  • Write SQL queries to validate source-to-target data and identify data discrepancies.
  • Perform data quality, completeness, accuracy, duplication, and consistency testing.
  • Validate data refresh schedules and pipeline execution.
  • Perform regression, integration, functional, system, and UAT testing.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using tools such as Jira.
  • Collaborate with Developers, Data Cloud Architects, Salesforce Administrators, and business teams to resolve issues.
  • Validate production deployments and perform post-deployment testing.
  • Prepare test scenarios, test cases, defect reports, test execution reports, and QA documentation.

Required Skills

  • 4+ years of Salesforce QA/testing experience.
  • Hands-on experience testing Salesforce Data Cloud.
  • Strong understanding of DMOs, DLOs, Data Streams, Data Spaces, Identity Resolution, Data Graphs, and Calculated Insights.
  • Strong SQL skills for data validation.
  • Experience with API testing and integration testing.
  • Experience testing Salesforce Sales Cloud / Service Cloud.
  • Knowledge of data migration, ETL, data quality, and data reconciliation.
  • Experience with Jira or similar defect-management tools.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Good to Have

  • Salesforce Data Cloud certification.
  • Experience with Marketing Cloud and customer data activation.
  • Experience with Postman or similar API testing tools.
  • Knowledge of MuleSoft or other integration platforms.
  • Experience testing AI/Agentforce or Data Cloud-powered use cases
