Data Consultant D365 F&O Role: 8-10 YOE

Overview

We are looking for an experienced D365 F&O Data Migration Consultant to support end-to-end data

migration activities, ensuring accurate, validated, and business-ready data for D365 F&O

implementations.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute end-to-end data migration activities for D365 F&O projects.

• Work with functional teams to understand migration requirements and define source-to-target

mappings.

• Extract, transform, cleanse, validate, and load data into D365 F&O.

• Use D365 Data Management Framework (DMF), Data Entities, and Data Management Workspace

for migration.

• Prepare migration templates, transformation rules, validation criteria, and data packages.

• Perform data profiling, cleansing, reconciliation, and validation across migration cycles.

• Execute mock migrations and support cutover and go-live migration activities.

• Troubleshoot data migration errors and coordinate with functional/technical teams for resolution.

• Support integration and ETL teams where required.

• Maintain migration documentation, trackers, and issue logs. Required Skills

• 8–10 years of experience in ERP data migration, with strong hands-on experience in D365 F&O.

• Good knowledge of D365 F&O Data Entities, DMF, Data Management Workspace, and data

packages.

• Experience with SQL, Excel, ETL/data transformation, and data validation tools.

• Understanding of D365 F&O Finance and SCM data structures and business processes.

• Experience in legacy-to-D365 migration projects and multiple mock migration cycles.

• Good understanding of data cleansing, reconciliation, validation, and cutover processes.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
