Job Summary

SRIK Consulting Services is looking for an experienced Senior .NET Developer with 6+ years of hands-on experience in C#, .NET/.NET Core, ASP.NET Core, Web API, SQL Server, and software development.


The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and enhancing scalable enterprise applications while working closely with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and other developers.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using C# and .NET/.NET Core.

  • Develop scalable and secure RESTful Web APIs using ASP.NET Core.

  • Work with ASP.NET MVC/Core, Entity Framework/Core, LINQ, and related Microsoft technologies.

  • Design and optimize database solutions using SQL Server.

  • Develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and database objects.

  • Participate in application architecture and technical design discussions.

  • Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-tested code.

  • Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to coding and development standards.

  • Troubleshoot application issues and perform root-cause analysis.

  • Integrate applications with internal and third-party systems through APIs and web services.

  • Collaborate with QA teams for unit, integration, and functional testing.

  • Work in an Agile/Scrum development environment.

  • Participate in deployment, production support, and issue resolution activities.

  • Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance when required.

Required Technical Skills

  • 6+ years of professional experience in .NET development.

  • Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET/.NET Core.

  • Strong knowledge of ASP.NET Core / ASP.NET MVC.

  • Experience developing REST APIs / Web APIs.

  • Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.

  • Good experience with Entity Framework / Entity Framework Core and LINQ.

  • Strong knowledge of SQL Server, database design, queries, and stored procedures.

  • Experience with Git and source-control practices.

  • Good understanding of SOLID principles, design patterns, and clean coding practices.

  • Experience with unit testing and debugging.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

Good to Have

  • Experience with Angular / React or any modern frontend framework.

  • Experience with Azure or AWS cloud services.

  • Knowledge of Microservices architecture.

  • Experience with Docker/Kubernetes.

  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.

  • Experience with authentication and authorization mechanisms such as JWT/OAuth2.

  • Experience with messaging technologies such as RabbitMQ or Kafka.

Education

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be a strong hands-on .NET developer with excellent coding, debugging, problem-solving, and communication skills, capable of independently handling development tasks and contributing to technical discussions and project delivery.
