Job Summary
The MuleSoft Integration Support Analyst will be responsible for monitoring, supporting, troubleshooting, and maintaining enterprise integration solutions built on the MuleSoft Platform. The role focuses on ensuring the stability, availability, and performance of APIs, integrations, middleware services, and data flows that support critical business applications. The analyst will play a key role in diagnosing and resolving production issues, performing root cause analysis, supporting release and deployment activities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and continuous service improvement.
Roles & Responsibilities"
1. Production Support & Incident Management
* Monitor MuleSoft integrations, APIs, and middleware services to ensure uninterrupted business operations.
* Provide L2/L3 production support for integration-related incidents and service requests.
* Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to API failures, message processing, data synchronization, and system connectivity.
* Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for critical incidents and implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence through Problem Management process.
* Participate in on-call support and major incident management activities as required.
* Ensure incidents and service requests are resolved within agreed SLAs.
2. Integration Monitoring & Maintenance
* Monitor integration health using MuleSoft Platform and enterprise monitoring tools.
* Identify performance bottlenecks and proactively address potential issues before business impact occurs.
* Validate data flows between source and target systems and ensure successful transaction processing.
* Support scheduled batch jobs, file transfers, and integration workflows.
3. Application & API Support
* Support MuleSoft APIs and integrations across cloud and on-premises applications.
* Troubleshoot REST, SOAP, FTP/SFTP, JMS, and other integration interfaces.
* Coordinate with application, infrastructure, database, and vendor teams to resolve cross-functional issues.
* Support API lifecycle management, including deployment validation and post-release monitoring.
4. Release & Change Management
* Support deployment activities across Development, QA, UAT, and Production environments.
* Perform smoke testing and validation following releases.
* Review and support change requests to ensure successful implementation with minimal business disruption.
* Coordinate rollback and recovery activities when required.
5. Data Validation & Database Support
* Execute SQL queries for troubleshooting, validation, and data reconciliation.
* Analyse integration data and transaction records to identify issues and data inconsistencies.
* Support ETL and interface validation activities during incident resolution and release testing.
6. Documentation & Knowledge Management
* Maintain support runbooks, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
* Document incident resolutions, known errors, and best practices.
* Participate in knowledge transfer sessions and support onboarding of new team members.
7. Continuous Improvement
* Identify recurring support issues and recommend automation or process improvements.
* Contribute to improving monitoring, alerting, and operational processes.
* Support service stability initiatives aimed at reducing incident volume and improving MTTR.
* Collaborate with development teams to enhance integration reliability and performance.
8. Stakeholder Communication
* Provide regular updates on incident status, problem investigations, and service health.
* Communicate effectively with business users, project teams, and leadership during critical issues.
* Participate in operational review meetings and support governance reporting.
Key Accountabilities
* Maintain availability and stability of MuleSoft integrations and APIs.
* Meet incident response and resolution SLAs.
* Minimize business disruptions through proactive monitoring and issue resolution.
* Ensure successful support of releases, deployments, and production changes.
* Continuously improve integration reliability, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
