Linux Technical Consultant – Platform & Virtualization(3 Position)

 

 

Job Summary

 

We are looking for a Linux Technical Consultant with strong expertise in Linux administration, virtualization, enterprise infrastructure, and solution consulting. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with KVM, VMware, Linux platform engineering, storage, networking, and enterprise solution architecture. Candidates should be capable of designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and supporting large-scale virtualized infrastructure while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Design and implement enterprise Linux and virtualization solutions.

Deploy and manage KVM-based virtualized environments.

Perform advanced Linux administration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.

Design technical architectures aligned with business requirements.

Support HPE VM Essentials/Morpheus deployments (preferred).

Develop automation scripts for provisioning and lifecycle management.

Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and production issue resolution.

Work with networking, storage, security, and infrastructure teams.

Participate in architecture governance and technical reviews.

 

Mandatory Technical Skills

 

Linux/UNIX Administration (Advanced)

KVM Virtualization (Mandatory)

VMware (ESXi, vCenter)

Virtualization & Compute Infrastructure

Networking (TCP/IP, VLANs, Bonding, LACP, MTU)

Storage Technologies (SAN, NAS, FC, iSCSI, NFS)

Filesystems (ext4, XFS, GFS2)

LVM, Multipathing, udev

Linux Boot Process & systemd

Serviceguard / Pacemaker Clustering

Architecture Design & Solution Consulting
