Job Purpose
 
Skilled Datamart Developer to design, build, and maintain subject-specific data marts that support efficient reporting and analytics. The candidate must have expertise in SQL, data modeling, ETL development, and performance optimization to ensure reliable, high-quality data for business decisions.
 
Job Accountabilities
 
• Design and implement dimensional modeling solutions.
• Develop and optimize ETL pipelines to load data from multiple sources and preserve historical data integrity.
• Optimize queries, indexing, and partitioning for high-performance analytics.
• Streaming and batching data uploading.
• Collaborating with business analysts, solution designers, and technical leads to translate requirements into technical solutions and delivery.
• Maintain technical documentation and data lineage.
• Develop Python application to transform CSV/DSV/FWF/JSON/XML files into CSV/DSV/FWF/JSON/XML/XLSX/PPTX/PDF formats per BA requirements.
 
Experience/ Skills Required
 
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Engineering, or related field.
• 4+ years of experience in Datamart development and data warehousing.
• Advanced SQL, PL/SQL, SQL Loader skills (Oracle) and experience in data modeling.
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools (Talend) and scripting languages (Python).
• Confident Python programming for ETL automation and data workflows.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools (Git, SourceTree, Bamboo) and job scheduling tools (Control-M).
• Familiarity with Banking domain and payment platforms
• Well versed in SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
• Experience in Fintech and Payment Systems.
• Must have sound understanding of the Oracle database architecture.
