About the Role



• We are looking for an experienced WSO2 Developer with strong expertise in WSO2 Middleware, API Manager (APIM), and Kubernetes. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and manage enterprise integration solutions and API platforms to support scalable, secure, and reliable business services.



Key Responsibilities

 

• Design, develop, and deploy integration solutions using WSO2 Enterprise Integrator (EI), WSO2 API Manager, and related WSO2 products.

• Configure, publish, and manage APIs using WSO2 API Manager (APIM).

• Implement mediation, transformations, and security policies within WSO2 frameworks.

• Set up and manage WSO2 deployments in Kubernetes environments (on-premises or cloud).

• Troubleshoot and optimize API performance, scalability, and reliability.

• Work with DevOps/Cloud teams to implement CI/CD pipelines for WSO2 and API solutions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (architects, business analysts, QA, and support) to deliver integration/API projects.

• Ensure compliance with API security, authentication, authorization (OAuth2, JWT, Key Manager, etc.).

• Prepare technical documentation, solution designs, and operational runbooks.

 

Required Skills & Experience



• 6–8 years of IT experience with a strong focus on integration and API management.

• Hands-on experience with WSO2 product suite(WSO2 4.x Version) – API Manager, Enterprise Integrator, Identity Server.

• Strong knowledge of API lifecycle management and integration patterns (SOAP/REST, message mediation, transformations, error handling).

• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices-based deployment models.

• Solid understanding of CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, Helm, or similar automation tools.

• Good knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.

• Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills.

• Experience with security protocols (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, SAML, SSL/TLS).

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills


Nice to Have



• Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK).

• Exposure to Agile/Scrum delivery models.

• Knowledge of Java/Python for custom extensions.
