SRIK Consulting Hiring :  Azure Lead Cloud Architect.

Role Summary

Support the Cloud Center of Excellence (CCoE) and the Cloud Platform Lead in building and operating the enterprise Azure platform. The role focuses on establishing reusable platform capabilities so teams can adopt Azure securely, consistently, and cost-effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure Operations, and Security teams to drive adoption and compliance.

• Define and maintain Azure platform standards including identity, networking, security, tagging, and deployment patterns.

• Publish reference architectures and reusable blueprints for core services such as AKS, Azure Virtual Desktop, and data platforms.

• Build and manage a cloud service catalog with standard designs, required controls, and self-service deployment options.

• Maintain an accurate cloud inventory covering subscriptions, resources, applications, and owners aligned with CMDB/ITSM processes.

• Lead FinOps execution, including cost allocation (showback/chargeback), budgeting, forecasting, and continuous cost optimization.

• Establish observability and reliability standards including monitoring, alerting, dashboards, runbooks, and SLOs where applicable.

• Implement identity and access controls using Microsoft Entra ID, RBAC, and Azure Policy, including policy-as-code and role design.

• Standardize CI/CD and release practices for platform components and landing-zone changes using Azure DevOps.

• Enable teams through guidance and targeted training to improve adoption and reduce operational support load.

 

Required Experience

• Hands-on experience designing and operating enterprise Azure platforms.

• Experience establishing cloud governance frameworks, policies, standards, and guardrails.

• Strong understanding of Azure networking, Azure security fundamentals, and Microsoft Entra ID for identity and access management.

• Proficiency in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and automation using Bicep, along with CI/CD implementation using Azure DevOps.

• Experience with one or more core Azure services/platforms such as AKS, Azure Virtual Desktop, and modern data platforms.

• Experience integrating cloud platforms with enterprise ITSM tools such as ServiceNow and CMDB processes.

• Strong understanding of Zero Trust principles and implementing landing zones and management groups at scale.

• Deliver a cloud service catalog and reference architectures widely adopted by delivery teams.

• Provide cost transparency and predictable forecasting through FinOps practices.

• Reduce incident detection and recovery time through standardized monitoring and operational runbooks.

• Ensure consistent access controls and policy enforcement across Azure subscriptions.

• Deliver reusable automation and CI/CD pipelines that accelerate compliant provisioning.

• Improve developer experience through clear guidance, documentation, and enablement initiatives.
