Role: Project Manager – AI Initiatives

Location: Pune / Remote

Joining: Within 1 week ( Onboarding should be from 2nd May )

Experience: 10–15 Years

 

Role Overview


We are looking for an experienced and execution-focused Project Manager to lead enterprise AI and automation initiatives.

This role combines strong delivery management (Agile execution, stakeholder governance, rollout ownership) with the ability to drive AI-led transformation initiatives such as AI-assisted development, QA automation, and operational intelligence.

 

Key Responsibilities


1. End-to-End Delivery Ownership - Own AI and automation initiatives from ideation → use case definition → development → rollout → production support ensuring predictable and high-quality delivery.


2. Agile Execution & Release Management - Drive Agile / Scrum / SAFe delivery, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release governance across cross-functional teams.


3. AI Initiative Leadership - Lead implementation of AI use cases such as: 

• AI-assisted development (developer productivity) 

• QA automation & intelligent testing 

• Data-driven insights & operational intelligence 

Ensure structured rollout with measurable business outcomes.


4. Planning, Tracking & Governance - Manage scope, timelines, budget, risks, dependencies, and resource allocation.

Define KPIs and track progress through JIRA, dashboards, and executive reports.


5. Stakeholder & Executive Communication - Drive governance calls, present delivery status, risks, and ROI metrics to leadership and clients.


6. Cross-Functional Coordination- Collaborate with architecture, DevOps, data, and product teams to ensure seamless integration, scalability, and adherence to NFRs.

7. AI Ecosystem Understanding (Working Knowledge) - Understand key AI components such as:

• LLM-based solutions and prompt-driven workflows 

• APIs and integration layers 

• Data pipelines and model lifecycle basics 

(Depth not required, but ability to engage effectively with technical teams is essential.

 

Required Skills

• 10–15 years of experience in IT Project / Delivery Management 

• Strong hands-on experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies 

• Proven experience managing AI / ML / Automation / Data-led initiatives 

• Strong stakeholder management and client-facing communication skills 

• Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, MS PowerPoint, Gantt charts 

• Ability to drive structured execution with strong problem-solving mindset 

Good to Have

• PMP, CPMAI, SAFe or equivalent certifications 

• Experience in enterprise-scale transformation programs 

• Exposure to AI adoption frameworks or digital transformation initiatives
