Job Title:  OpenText Developer


Role Overview 

We are seeking a Senior OpenText Developer with strong expertise in OpenText Content Server to design, develop, and support enterprise content management solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in OScript development, workflow configuration, and Web Reports, with the ability to work in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

•

• Design and develop solutions using OpenText Content Server (Livelink).

• Develop and customize applications using OScript.

• Configure and manage workflows, business process automation, and lifecycle management.

• Create and maintain Web Reports for reporting and data extraction.

• Perform system configuration, customization, and enhancements based on business requirements.

• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into technical solutions.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to OpenText applications and integrations.

• Ensure code quality, performance optimization, and adherence to best practices.

• Support deployment, testing, and production activities.

 


Required Skills


• Strong experience in OpenText Content Server (Livelink).

• Hands-on expertise in OScript development.

• Experience in Web Reports creation and customization.

• Proficiency in Workflow design and implementation.

• Good understanding of OpenText architecture and data model.

• Experience with system integrations and APIs.

• Knowledge of SQL and database concepts.

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

 

Preferred Skills

• Experience with OpenText upgrades and migrations.

• Exposure to REST/SOAP services and integrations.

• Knowledge of ECM best practices and document management processes.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field.

• Relevant OpenText certifications are a plus.

 

Key Competencies

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Effective communication and stakeholder management

• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
