Responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining, and optimizing MongoDB databases within the Atlas cloud environment, ensuring high availability, performance, and security



* Manage Environments / Project, Database configuration, Custom Sharding, monitoring, performance tuning and troubleshooting while also collaborating with development teams and implementing best practices

* Implementing and maintaining data security and access controls, including authentication and authorization mechanisms

* Designing and configuring MongoDB databases and clusters within MongoDB Atlas • Designing data models and schemas to support application requirements

* Developing and implementing robust backup and disaster recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and availability.

* Optimizing database performance through indexing, query optimization, and other tuning techniques

* Monitoring database health and performance using Atlas and other tools, proactively identifying and resolving issues.

* Working closely with development teams to provide database support, guidance, and ensure database solutions align with business needs

* Creating and maintaining documentation for database designs, configurations, and procedures.

* Planning for database capacity to accommodate future growth and performance need

* Keeping up-to-date with the latest MongoDB features, best practices, and cloud technologies
