SRIK Consulting Hiring :  SAP ABAP on HANA Professionals || Remote  -- India (Hybrid) 

• Skill Set: SAP ABAP, SAP ABAP on HANA, RAP

• Experience Range: 6 to 10 years

• Location: India (Remote/Hybrid – project dependent)

 

Role & Responsibilities


• Design, develop, and enhance applications using RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP)

• Build CDS Views (Basic, Composite, Consumption) with annotations

• Develop Behavior Definitions and Behavior Implementations

• Implement OData V4 services using RAP

• Work with S/4HANA Cloud / On-Prem systems

• Develop clean, optimized ABAP code aligned with HANA best practices

• Integrate RAP services with Fiori Elements applications

• Handle authorization concepts in CDS and RAP

• Debug and troubleshoot RAP-based applications

• Collaborate with functional consultants for requirement analysis

• Perform unit testing and support SIT/UAT activities.


Key Responsibilities:


• Architect, design, and implement solutions using SAP RAP on S/4HANA and BTP.

• Develop CDS Views, behaviors, annotations, and OData services to support RAP applications.

• Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable architectures.

• Integrate RAP applications with SAP Fiori/UI5 for seamless user experiences.

• Ensure adherence to clean code principles, performance optimization, and security standards.

• Guide development teams on ABAP on HANA, RAP, CAP, and extension approaches.

• Provide leadership in system design, code reviews, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.

• Support migration of legacy custom developments to RAP-based solutions.

• Document technical designs, standards, and best practices.


Requirements:


• SAP technical experience with 6+ years in SAP RAP.

• Strong expertise in ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, Annotations, OData V2/V4, and BOPF.

• Knowledge of S/4HANA extensibility, BTP, and SAP Fiori/UI5 integration.

• Experience with RESTful APIs, event handling, and transactional processing in RAP.

• Hands-on experience with CAP (Cloud Application Programming Model) is a plus.

• Understanding of clean core and side-by-side extensions on BTP.

• Strong problem-solving, design, leadership, and communication skills.
