Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Security & Application Security Consultant with strong expertise in Azure security, vulnerability management, and risk frameworks. The ideal candidate will be responsible for securing cloud environments, performing application security reviews, managing third-party risk, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and implement cloud security controls in Microsoft Azure environments.
• Conduct threat modelling and risk assessments for applications and cloud infrastructure.
• Manage vulnerability assessment processes using tools such as Rapid7.
• Apply CVSS scoring methodology to assess and prioritize security risks.
• Perform SaaS product security reviews and third-party risk assessments (TPRM).
• Conduct application and product security reviews including SAST and SCA analysis.
• Implement and monitor GitHub Advanced Security controls.
• Support vulnerability assessment and penetration testing activities.
• Ensure compliance with frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, and other security standards.
• Support data privacy and risk management frameworks.
• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to integrate security into SDLC.
• Provide remediation guidance and track closure of security findings.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Strong experience in Azure Cloud Security.
• Hands-on experience in Vulnerability Management (Rapid7 preferred).
• Knowledge of CVSS vulnerability scoring system.
• Experience with Application Security / Product Security reviews.
• Understanding of NIST, ISO 27001, and other compliance frameworks.
• Experience with Third Party Risk Management (TPRM).
• Knowledge of SaaS security review processes.
• Hands-on knowledge of GitHub Advanced Security.
• Strong understanding of SAST and SCA tools.
• Familiarity with Risk Management and Data Privacy frameworks.
• Experience in vulnerability assessment and penetration testing (preferred).
Preferred Profile
• Experience working in enterprise cloud environments.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Excellent stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to work in cross-functional security and DevOps teams.
