 JD:

4-6 years in Software Quality Assurance with strong focus on Test Automation

ey Responsibilities

· Design, develop, and maintain automated UI test scripts in Playwright with JavaScript.

· Migrate existing Tricentis Testim scripts to Playwright JS

· Develop and execute API tests and automation using Postman, RestAssured (Java), or ReadyAPI.

· Perform functional testing by understanding business requirements, creating test scenarios, and validating application behavior across features.

· Identify, log, track, and verify defects using defect management tools; work closely with development  teams to ensure timely resolution.

· Validate REST APIs including request/response payloads, headers, authentication, and error handling.

· Integrate UI and API automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.

· Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA teams to understand requirements and      define test strategies.

· Analyse failures, log and track defects, and support timely defect resolution.

· Ensure adequate test coverage through effective test design and automation practices.

· Maintain and improve automation frameworks with a focus on reliability, reusability, and scalability.

· Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and                    retrospectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications

· 4–6 years of experience in Software Testing / QA Engineering.

· Strong hands-on experience in UI automation using Tricentis Testim.

· Must have experience with Playwright (JavaScript/TypeScript)

· Preferred experience with Tricentis Testim or Selenium/Cypress (JS) or

· Solid experience in API testing and automation using either Postman, RestAssured, or ReadyAPI.

· Proficiency in JavaScript for writing, understanding, and maintaining automation code.

· Strong understanding of RESTful services, API and backend testing concepts.

· Experience working with tools like JIRA, ADO, TestRail etc

· Good knowledge of test automation principles, test pyramid, and QA best practices.

· Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

· Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).

· Working knowledge of Git and modern version control practices.

· Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills.

Nice to Have

· Exposure to performance testing.

· Familiarity with BDD frameworks and advanced test reporting.

· Performance testing experience with JMeter, Locust etc

· Prior experience improving or scaling test automation frameworks
