Position: ServiceNow – ITOM Implementation Specialist

Experience: 4+ years

Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days

Work Location: Chennai & Bangalore



Job Summary:



We are seeking a skilled ServiceNow – ITOM Implementation Specialist with 4+ years of experience in IT software and at least 5 years in ServiceNow implementations. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in IT Operations Management (ITOM) and IT Asset Management (ITAM) modules, including CMDB, CSDM, Discovery, Service Mapping, Event/Alert Management, SAM, HAM, and Integration Hub.


You will work closely with business stakeholders to gather requirements, develop and implement solutions on the ServiceNow platform, and contribute to architectural planning and technical documentation.




Key Responsibilities:




Design, develop, test, and configure ServiceNow ITOM & ITAM modules including CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, Asset Management, Integration Hub, and more.

Capture business requirements through workshops and stakeholder discussions.

Translate business needs into technical specifications and user stories.

Create custom solutions using scripting and ServiceNow development tools.

Prepare technical documentation such as HLD, LLD, and architectural designs.

Support BAU activities and participate in platform direction and strategy.

Conduct assessments and workshops to help maximize business value from the platform.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of solutions.




Required Skills & Experience:




Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITOM/ITAM modules.

Strong experience in scripting, REST/SOAP integrations, and NOW platform development.

In-depth knowledge of CMDB, CSDM, Discovery, Service Mapping, RCA.

Experience in Event & Alert Management, Alert Intelligence, AIOps, Predictive Intelligence.

Strong hands-on experience with Software & Hardware Asset Management workflows.

Proficient in Integration Hub, Flow Designer, App Engine, Import Sets, and Update Sets.

Hands-on experience with scripting: Business Rules, Glide, JavaScript, UI Policy, ACLs.

Familiarity with front-end tech: AngularJS, HTML, CSS, AJAX, JSON.

Experience in Performance Analytics, KPI dashboards, and reporting.


Preferred Certifications:



Mandatory: CSA, CIS-ITOM, CIS-Discovery, CIS-CMDB, CIS-Event

Desirable: CIS-HAM, CIS-SAM

Others: ITIL Foundation Certified
