Job description for Developer and Lead.

 

Note : Snowflake certification is mandatory for both positions.

 

Lead : Data modelling is mandatory. Rest of the JD remains same for Lead position.

 

 Required Skills & Qualifications

 

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering or BI development
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and data modeling (star/snowflake schemas)
  • Experience with ETL/ELT tools (e.g., Informatica, Talend, dbt, Apache Airflow)
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS)
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (Python preferred)
  • Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

 

🛠 Responsibilities

  • Design and implement scalable data pipelines using Snowflake and related technologies
  • Develop and maintain complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and views
  • Optimize Snowflake performance through clustering, partitioning, and query tuning
  • Collaborate with data analysts, scientists, and business stakeholders to understand data needs
    • Integrate Snowflake with other platforms (AWS)
  • Ensure data quality, security, and governance across all pipelines
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows and system performance
  • Mentor junior developers and contribute to best practices and code reviews
