Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SAP ERP Consultant for a short-term contract to support our SAP implementation, enhancement, or optimization initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on SAP expert with deep knowledge of end-to-end business processes, and strong expertise in configuring, customizing, and supporting SAP ERP systems.


Key Result Areas (Principal Accountabilities):

  • Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for SAP ERP, providing hands-on support, configuration, and guidance.
  • Analyze current business processes and align them with SAP best practices.
  • Conduct gap analysis, solution design, and system configuration for modules such as FICO, MM, SD, PP, HCM, etc.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and prepare functional specifications.
  • Support testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing, and UAT.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve SAP-related issues during implementation and support.
  • Prepare documentation such as functional specs, configuration documents, and training materials.
  • Conduct knowledge transfer and training sessions for project teams and end-users.
  • Ensure timely delivery of assigned deliverables and provide regular progress updates.

 

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
  • 8+ years of hands-on SAP ERP experience with expertise in one or more modules (e.g., FICO, MM, SD).
  • Strong knowledge of SAP business processes and system configuration.
  • Proven experience in SAP implementation, upgrades, or roll-outs.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver within tight timelines.
  • SAP certifications in relevant modules (preferred).
  • Experience in S/4HANA environments (preferred).
  • Exposure to third-party system integrations (preferred).
  • Prior consulting or client-facing experience (preferred).

 

Extent of Public Contact:

  • Frequently represents QBSS in interactions with internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating professionalism, courtesy, and discretion.
  • Engages with contract corporate groups, line-of-business (LOB) management, and corporate staff on functional and contractual matters.
  • Negotiates contracts, addresses inquiries, and collaborates with cross-functional teams.

 

Working Conditions:

  • Working Days: Monday – Friday
  • Working Hours: 9 hours (UK shift), hybrid model (WFO + WFH).
  • Flexibility: Working hours may extend depending on business requirements
