Role: Sr. MuleSoft Developer -- Freelancer/Contractor.

Job Overview:


We are looking for a skilled Integration Consultant with hands-on experience in both Jitterbit and MuleSoft (Anypoint Platform) to support a critical migration project. The ideal candidate will play a key role in analyzing existing Jitterbit jobs, designing scalable MuleSoft equivalents, and ensuring a smooth end-to-end migration with minimal business disruption.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Analyze existing Jitterbit integrations, understand business logic, and prepare detailed migration plans.
  • Design, develop, and deploy integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
  • Build reusable components, connectors, and APIs within MuleSoft.
  • Ensure data mapping, transformation, error handling, and logging mechanisms are handled effectively.
  • Coordinate with business and technical stakeholders to gather requirements and validate migrated workflows.
  • Conduct unit and system integration testing; support UAT and production deployment.
  • Provide technical documentation and knowledge transfer to internal teams post-migration.


Required Skills & Experience:


  • 5+ years of experience in integration development.
  • Hands-on experience with Jitterbit, including project structure, connectors, and operation chaining.
  • 3+ years of experience working with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, including API Manager, Runtime Manager, and DataWeave.
  • Strong understanding of REST/SOAP APIs, authentication (OAuth2, Basic, etc.), and cloud/on-premise connectivity.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and DevOps practices.
  • Experience in integration migration projects is a strong plus.
  • MuleSoft Certification (Developer Level 1 or higher) is preferred.

Soft Skills:



  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to delivery.

Nice to Have:



  • Exposure to Salesforce, SAP, or other ERP systems being integrated.
  • Experience working in Agile or Scrum-based project environments.
