Job Summary:

We are seeking enthusiastic and skilled Application Support Engineers to join our growing team. In this role, you will be crucial in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our applications. You will leverage your technical acumen to troubleshoot issues, provide effective support, and contribute to building a robust knowledge base. This position requires a proactive individual who is comfortable working in a dynamic environment and is willing to address issues as they arise.


Responsibilities:

• Provide application support to end-users, diagnosing and resolving technical issues.

• Analyze application logs to identify root causes of problems and implement effective solutions.

• Maintain systematic accounting of support activities and contribute to the development of a comprehensive knowledge base.

• Collaborate with development teams to understand application workflows from start to end.

• Demonstrate an understanding of application deployment and installation processes.

• Be prepared to address critical issues outside of standard working hours, as required by the nature of the job.

• Potentially participate in support and maintenance activities, including minor bug fixes and application upgrades, depending on team evolution.


Required Skills and Experience:

• A foundational understanding of coding concepts.

• Familiarity with system administration tasks, including installation and deployment.

• Proven experience in troubleshooting technical issues.

• Awareness of technologies such as Tomcat, Java, IIS, and .NET.

• Understanding of GIS map services and GP services (where applicable).

• Prior experience in application support or related roles is highly desirable.

• Candidates with 4-5 years of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.


Important Note: This role is focused on application support and may not involve core development tasks. Candidates should be genuinely interested in support and maintenance activities.
