Job Title: Lead Consultant – Tableau with Big Data

Experience: 10+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Tableau development, and Big Data environments, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

Location: Banglore(Work from office) 

Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Lead Consultant with extensive experience in Tableau and Big Data technologies to lead advanced analytics initiatives, design scalable BI solutions, and deliver actionable insights. The ideal candidate will play a strategic role in enabling data-driven decisions by providing sophisticated visualizations, managing ad hoc reporting, and aligning Big Data capabilities with business goals.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Dashboard Development:

Design and deliver complex Tableau dashboards to extract insights from massive datasets.

Ensure dashboards meet business needs, with a focus on performance and usability at scale.

Big Data Integration:

Collaborate with data engineering teams to manage the ingestion, transformation, and querying of Big Data from platforms like Hadoop, Hive, Spark, or similar.

Integrate Tableau with data warehouses and cloud-based Big Data solutions such as AWS Redshift, Snowflake, or Google BigQuery.

Ad Hoc Reporting and Insights:

Support business teams with ad hoc reporting requests by quickly transforming raw data into actionable insights.

Develop processes to streamline recurring ad hoc reporting needs.

Stakeholder Communication:

Act as a key point of contact for business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions.

Effectively communicate findings through Tableau visualizations, concise reports, and presentations.

Educate stakeholders on leveraging Tableau for self-service reporting.

Leadership and Collaboration:

Guide and mentor a team of Tableau developers and analysts, ensuring quality delivery.

Collaborate across departments to align Big Data initiatives with broader business objectives.

Performance Optimization:

Continuously improve the performance of Tableau dashboards and queries for high-efficiency analytics on large datasets.

Innovation and Strategy:

Research and implement emerging Tableau features and Big Data technologies to enhance analytics capabilities.

Recommend innovative BI solutions to address evolving business needs.

 

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field.

Experience: 10+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Tableau development, and Big Data environments, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.

Certifications:

Tableau Certification (Tableau Desktop Specialist/Certified Professional).

Cloud certifications (AWS Data Analytics, GCP Data Engineer) are a plus.
