Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Workday Consultant to join our team and play a critical role in supporting and optimizing our contingent worker business processes. This individual will collaborate closely with key stakeholders, map out existing processes, and drive coordination across teams to ensure the successful implementation and management of VNDLY (a Workday partner VMS solution) within our organization.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a deep understanding of the US contingent workforce ecosystem, including recruiting, onboarding, offboarding, payment, contracts, and vendor management systems. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in process management, project management, and stakeholder coordination, with a focus on improving operational efficiency and supporting the broader contingent workforce strategy.
Responsibilities:
• Partner with HR, Procurement, IT, and other key stakeholders to document and analyze current contingent worker processes (recruiting, onboarding, offboarding, payments, contracts, etc.). Identify areas for improvement and drive process optimization.
• Work closely with stakeholders across multiple departments to understand business requirements, identify pain points, and align on process changes or improvements related to contingent workforce management.
• Collaborate with the Workday and VNDLY teams to support the implementation and ongoing management of the VNDLY Vendor Management System (VMS). Coordinate between business and technical teams to ensure that the system meets the business requirements and supports streamlined processes for contingent worker management.
• Serve as a liaison between business teams (HR, Procurement, Legal, Finance) and technical teams (Workday, VNDLY, IT) to ensure alignment, resolve issues, and drive timely project execution
Requirements:
• Minimum of 5-7 years of Workday experience managing processes related to the contingent workforce, including recruiting, onboarding, offboarding, payments, and contracts.
• Strong familiarity with Vendor Management Systems (VMS), ideally VNDLY, or other similar tools (e.g., Beeline, SAP Fieldglass).
• Proven experience in project management, including managing cross-functional teams and delivering projects on time and within scope.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Skills:
• Extensive experience with Workday HCM System
• Thorough understanding of HR processes.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Below is the exact requirement needed by client and ideally candidate should be expertise in Workday for more than 6 yrs along with Project Management.
- Workday experience managing processes related to the contingent workforce, including recruiting, onboarding, offboarding, payments, and contracts.
- Strong familiarity with Vendor Management Systems (VMS), ideally VNDLY, or other similar tools.
- We need candidate more of functional skill and Project Management in Workday than technical skills.
