Skills:

 

   

  • Proven experience as a BI Architect or in a similar role with a focus on Snowflake.
    • Expertise in Snowflake, including data warehousing, performance optimization, and advanced features.
    • Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server).
    • Experience with ETL tools such as Apache Nifi, Talend, Informatica, or SSIS.
    • Proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
    • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their data services.

    Interesting read. The BI Architect role often seems underestimated until you see how much of analytics adoption depends on the foundation being set up properly. It also made me think about how often people ask what is power bi and focus only on reports, while the architecture, data flow, and governance side usually shapes whether those reports stay useful over time. Curious whether you think BI Architects are becoming more involved in business strategy now compared to a few years ago?
