Here is the JD :
As an IT Asset Management Specialist, you will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, and ongoing management of our Freshservice asset management system. You will ensure accurate tracking, monitoring, and optimization of IT assets throughout their lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and Configure Freshservice:
- Set up Freshservice asset management, including defining asset types, categories, and custom fields.
- Import existing assets into Freshservice using CSV import and automated discovery tools.
- Integrate Systems:
- Integrate Freshservice with other IT systems such as Active Directory, SCCM, and network discovery tools.
- Manage Asset Lifecycle:
- Define asset lifecycle stages and configure automation rules for status changes.
- Track asset ownership, maintenance schedules, and warranty expirations.
- Monitor and Audit Assets:
- Implement audit trails to monitor changes to asset records.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
- Reporting and Analytics:
- Create custom reports and dashboards to analyze asset data and visualize key metrics.
- Training and Documentation:
- Conduct training sessions for IT staff and end-users.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for asset management processes.
