Job Description:

Currently we are actively hiring experienced Android developers/Senior developers. If you have an interesting portfolio of apps and have excellent communication, team skills and you fit the description below - you are the candidate, we are looking for! Your roles and responsibilities will include the development of Android, AndroidTV and FireTV apps:

 

Core Development Skillsets:

●       Android Studio Expertise: An absolute master of the Android development environment.

●       Programming Languages:Rock-solid Java proficiency, with a strong understanding of Kotlin (highly preferred).

●       Android Frameworks & Libraries: In-depth knowledge of these essential tools:

○       UI Development:Leanback (for TV apps)

○       Dependency Injection:Dagger

○       Networking: Retrofit

○       Asynchronous Programming: RxJava

○       Modern Development:Jetpack libraries

○       View Binding:Butterknife

○       Image Loading: Glide or Picasso

○       Media Playback: Deep understanding of Exoplayer

Development Best Practices:

●       Creating Reusable Components: Experience in building and maintaining libraries and SDKs.

●       Testable Code: A commitment to clean, well-tested code using Unit Testing and automated frameworks.

●       Software Architecture:Familiarity with the Model-View-Presenter (MVP) architecture.

Integration & APIs:

●       Backend Integration:Experience with Firebase for backend services.

●       Push Notifications: Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) expertise.

●       Ad Integration: Knowledge of Interactive Media Ads (IMA) integration.

●       Third-Party SDKs: Experience working with Google Services and Facebook SDKs.

Additional Skills (For Senior Developers):

●       Performance Optimization:Expertise in code profiling, debugging, and optimization for peak app performance.

●       Team Leadership: Strong leadership and mentorship abilities to guide development teams.

Additional Considerations:

●       Experience working with the Android Opensource Project (AOSP) or Android TV application development is a plus.

●       Knowledge or experience with the Native Development Kit (NDK) for native code integration is a plus.
