 SAP BASIS Administrator

Experience: 7+ years

Location: Hyd/Bangalore

Timing : EST Time Zone

 

Key responsibilities

·       Perform system upgrades, refreshes, client copies including day to day Basis related activities

·       Application Operation Support including but not limited to -

·       SAP & third-party application administration

·       Technical system monitoring, alert management & reporting using Solution Manager, HANA cockpit, CCMS, etc.

·       Application performance monitoring and tuning

·       Authentication and Single sign-on

·       Cross System Connectivity

·       SAP CTS/ChaRM administration & support

·       Application of Security notes, EWA alert recommendations, Cyber Security vulnerability fixes

·       Background jobs/Redwood/Control-M administration & operations

·       SAP spool & print management

·       Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis & preventative maintenance

·       SAP System refreshes, client copies

·       Planned / Un-planned downtime & maintenance support

·       IT Cyber Security heath checks & mitigations

·       Work with Project and Support teams in conjunction

·       Work with DBA and Security team to support Infrastructure group

·       Able to support Transport management team and have a good understanding of change management process

Qualifications and Requirements

·       Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in the field of Computer Science, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering

·       5+ years of SAP Basis experience with both ABAP and Java stack systems

·       Experience with the following is a must:

SAP ECC 6.0, SAP SRM, SAP MDG, SAP GRC, SAP SCM, Fiori

·       In addition, experience with at least two of the following is a plus:

PO, SAP ME/MII, OpenText Suite of products, SAP GTS, Solution Manager 7.2,

Cloud solutions including SAP Ariba, SuccessFactors, BTP, & C4C.

·       Good understanding of SAP Cloud Architecture, HCI Middleware setup and SuccessFactors integration with on-premise SAP environments.

·       Operating SAP systems on HANA/DB2/SQL Server/Oracle as the underlying databases.

·       Windows/Linux/AIX administration and management of SAP systems in a virtualization/Hyperscaler context is a big plus

·       Excellent communication, verbal, and written skills

·       Demonstrate ability to work well within a team, collaborate with various people and organizations to develop win/win results.

·       High level of proficiency and understanding of information technology and the linkage between business processes, people, and systems.
