Position / Designation: DBA (Database Administration)

Experience:  5 to 6years 

Qualification: Any Graduate 

Job Type: Permanent with SRIK

Job location: Bangalore/ Hyderabad/Pune 

Requirement: -

Experience as a Database administrator who can work on RDBMS databases 

● Minimum 5 years’ experience as a DBA Administrator on PostgreSQL database

● Hands-on experience with MongoDB database.

● Data migration from on-premises to cloud database servers

● Handle huge data loading into PostgreSQL database and migrations from one DB to other DB.

● Able to handle Oracle to Postgres database migration

● Hands-on experience with PLSQL, data backup, recovery, security.

● Manage database access control management - DAC, RBAC

● Handle the query tunning, optimization, performance related issues.

● Install, upgrade and maintain the performance of database servers.

● Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors.

● Knowledge in Real Application Cluster (RAC) & experience with clustering technologies from different DBs/vendors

● Backup and Recovery, RMAN, knowledge of various restore and recovery scenarios.

● Fine-tune configurations – MongoDB and servers for performance improvement.

● Create and publish database health checks to monitoring systems for Identify slow queries, Memory usage, Locks etc.

● Implementing best practices for backups, replication, and health checks.

● Design and implement DR plans & HA solutions and recommendations.

● Familiar with cloud implementations of DB as a Service.

● Familiar with huge data sets of data migration from one sever to other/On-premises to cloud etc..

 

Kindly Note : This position will be permanent with SRIK Consulting Services Pvt Ltd and the candidate will be deployed our internal & external Projects & Client engagements.
