senior QA Automation Engineer


Job Description


We are looking for an experienced senior QA Automation Engineer to join our distributed product team. The candidate we are looking for should be a self-driven individual who has a great sense of ownership and can drive projects to completion with limited supervision, quick learner, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Candidate must be comfortable working in an Agile environment and have the ability to “take the wheel” when necessary.

 

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Drive automation using SoapUI, Selenium- develop tests and framework 
  • Maintain and keep current existing automated test cases
  • Environment preparation (installation, configuration)
  • Tasks estimation / test design and execution
  • Requirements researching
  • Feature, Installation guides, Release Notes preparation
  • Bug verification
  • Write clear and accurate bug reports
  • Some manual testing when needed
  • Perform code review for more junior team members
  • Design and support complete automation activities
  • Change product configuration files as necessary for testing
  • Conduct performance, stress and load testing

 

 

Required Training and Qualifications

  • Five years of testing experience
  • Experience in leading is a plus

 

Required Job Skills, Experience, and Specifications

  • Experience in an Agile environment, and able to participate vocally in Agile ceremonies
  • Knowledge of Selenium, JMeter, GitHub
  • Decision making and prompt issue solving skills
  • Forward-thinking view
  • Excellent English verbal and written skills
  • Experience in automated and performance testing
  • Hands on experience with API testing, functional, compatibility, acceptance/smoke testing, database testing
  • Knowledge of and proficient in at least one coding language, preferably JavaScript
  • Experience in a senior role directing automation activities

  

Preferred/Nice To Have Skills

  • Experience in DevOps and CI/CD
  • Web app / Web site testing experience
  • Experience with ad-hoc/exploratory testing, regression, staging, installation and multi-platform testing
  • Knowledge of IBM software (WebSphere, FileNet, CaseManager)
  • Knowledge of Postman
  • Familiarity with Linux OS
  • Experience working with SVN/GIT, JIRA, Xray, Confluence or similar tools
  • Familiarity with SQL Server, Oracle, DB2, Postgre databases
  • Experience with Kubernetes
  • SharePoint, Cucumber, LoadRunner, JMeter

 

Kindly Note : This position will be permanent with SRIK Consulting Services Pvt Ltd and the candidate will be deployed our internal & external Projects & Client engagements.

 

 

Location : PAN INDIA

Joining Time : 0 to 5 Days

 

Note : Must work onsite( Office ) from day 1,no remote work allowed. Remote work depends on client approval.
