ETL Developer

Job location: Hyderabad/ Bangalore

 Note: Look for ETL developers , who are strong in SQl/Pl sql & Teradata(Knowledge or experience) or PL/ SQL,  SQL developer with minor ETL(any )

1.     Minimum 4 yrs of IT Experience on areas like Data Warehouse/ETL. Extensive experience in building Data Warehouses/Data Marts using ETL Tools or Stored procedures.

2.     Excellent Knowledge on DWH, ETL, RDBMS Concepts. Knowledge on dimensional modeling, Star and Snowflake schemas, Data mart and Fact, Dimension tables, Slowly Changing Dimensions -Type I & II & III is highly needed.

3.     Strong experience in SQL and PL/SQL. Able to write new stored procedures and modify existing.

4.     Either have experience in building code in tools like Informatica, Datastage, ODI,BODI etc. Or have strong experience in PL/SQL.

5.     Good experience in Tuning SQL Queries and ETL Code to Improve Performance.

6.     Involved in Integration Testing and UAT Testing.

7.     Teradata experience is good to have.

8.     Understands whole DWH Project life Cycle and was part of all phases.

9.     Prepared required SDLC Documents as per Client Standards and guidelines. Should have involved in Deployment process.

10.  Should be willing to learn and work on other ETL Tools if needed.

Good communication skills and ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team
