Job Description:

 

·       Minimum 5 yrs of IT Experience on areas like Data Warehouse/ETL/Datastage. Extensive experience in building Data Warehouses/Data Marts using ETL tools like Datastage, Informatica.

·       Minimum 2 yrs of experience in Datastage. Should have worked on etl development.

·       Excellent Knowledge on DWH, ETL, RDBMS Concepts. Knowledge on dimensional modeling, Star and Snowflake schemas, Data mart and Fact, Dimension tables, Slowly Changing Dimensions -Type I & II & III is highly needed.

·       Developed complex jobs in Datastage to implement critical Business rules. 

·       Implemented Parameterization and Restartability techniques.

·       Good knowledge in Tuning SQL Queries and ETL Code to Improve Performance.

·       Good Hands On working experience on writing SQLs and PL/SQL in Oracle or SQL Server. 

·       Experience in developing Unix Shell Scripts is good to have.

·       Involved in Integration Testing and UAT Testing.

• Understands whole DWH Project life Cycle and was part of all phases. 
• Prepared required SDLC Documents as per Client Standards and guidelines. Should have involved in Deployment process. 

·       Good communication skills and ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team.
