API Testing

 Primary Responsibilities:

·       Good understanding of QA processes and methodologies

·       Design test plans, create test cases 

·       Test execution, test result capture and assurance on quality

·       Knowledge of formal testing and deployment methods from conception through to go-live

(Functional, System, regression, and UAT testing)

·       Ensure effective communication of project and testing status to Development and QA teams

·       Experience testing APIs (familiarity with REST API, JSON, XML)

·       Candidate should have debugging experience, and excellent problem solving skills

·       Identify defects and own them through the resolution and verification cycle

·       Excellent knowledge of Agile QA/Dev processes and software development life cycle

·       Experience of exploratory testing, adhoc testing.

·       Experience with Jira and Confluence

·       Any Test case management tool exp like TestRail, Zephyr, Silk central

·       Web application automation – Selenium

·       Rest Assured API automation experience

Good to have:

·       Hands-on experience in Java/Python

·       Experience on AWS or any other cloud platform.

·       Experience with CI/CD integrations

Qualifications:

·       Bachelor’s degree in Technology (preferred), or relevant experience required.

·       5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance. 

·       2+ years direct experience in Automation using Selenium or any other tool.

·       1+ years of experience in API testing

·       Experience with CI/CD, Automating pipelines with scripting (Jenkins, shell / python, etc.)
