Knowledge Experience:
We are looking for a
Senior Frontend Developer to work effectively in an agile team developing
components for our SaaS based product using Sencha ExtJS. You will be
responsible for the user interfaces on various device types including Desktops,
Phones, Tablets, and Kiosks. You will join forces with Backend Developers,
Quality Assurance Engineers, and UI and UX Designers to create a world class
product that is intuitive and easy to use on any device. We believe in
ownership and are looking for people driven to continuously ship new, impactful
features and capabilities for our users.
Responsibilities
Developing new user-facing features
using Sencha ExtJS both Modern and Classic Toolkits
●
Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
●
Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
●
Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of
web-capable devices and browsers
●
Partner closely with product designers and managers to understand customer
concerns and how your contributions affect our business
●
Keeping a pulse on the evolving technologies in frontend development
Qualifications
●
Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and comprehension
of the JavaScript object model
●
Thorough understanding of Sencha ExtJS and it’s application pattern
● Familiarity with newer specifications
of ECMAScript
●
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and Postman
●
Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools, such as Sencha CMD
●
Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM,
etc.
● Ability to understand business
requirements and translate them into technical requirements
● Familiarity with Git and GitHub as a
version control system
●
Performance profiling and optimization experience
●
Ability to work in a complex environment and prioritize among competing demands
● 4+ years professional JavaScript
experience. Bonus Skills
●
Backend skills such as Python, NodeJS, Java and/or C#.
●
Industry knowledge of Architecture, Engineering, and Construction processes and
applications such as CADD and BIM
●
Experience creating business applications used in the field under low or no
connectivity
