AWS Redshift Data Engineer

Job Description

We are looking to hire a AWS Redshift Data Engineer for an offshore consulting role we have at Fortune 100 Healthcare Company.

Candidates must have the following qualifications:

·         5+ years of experience as a Data Architect in a company with large, complex data sources.

·         Expertise in AWS , Redshift & RDS database, optimizing, tuning queries, tables and applying business rules/logic.

·         Expertise in translating business requirements into Data model and Data warehouse layer on AWS Redshift

·         Experience in developing Reporting warehouse layer for consumption based on visualization requirements.

·         Proficient in SQL and ETL activities

·         Experience in technology stack AWS, Redshift, Google Cloud Platform, BigQuery, Web API

·         Experience in working on Google Analytics and Firebase as source systems is preferred

·         Interface with other technology teams to extract, transform, and load data from a wide variety of data sources using SQL and AWS big data technologies.

·         Designing and implementing complex ETL pipelines and other BI solutions.

·         Experience on Control M scheduler, Bitbucket for CI/CD is nice have.

·         Work closely with business owners, developers, Business Intelligence Engineer to explore new data sources and deliver the data

·         Ability to perform quick discovery work and POCs with business in data engineering tasks.

·         Must have the ability to work independently

·         Must have experience with Agile/Scrum and knowledge of JIRA, Confluence tools

·         Must have good communication skills

·         Experience working with marketing data and consumer products data
