Skillset | - The TIBCO Admin Lead is responsible for managing TIBCO landscape. Designing, implementing, and
- supporting an enterprise-wide integration platform and data interfaces for the Client Business
- Applications ecosystem, including on-premise, custom written, and cloud-based applications. In this role
- they will be responsible for developing ETL, ESB, MFT, and other integrations according to the technical
- design of the solution in adherence to development standards and process including unit testing,
- regression testing, performance testing, code review, etc.
Job Responsibilities - TIBCO Admin Lead Identifies, publishes and communicates strategic technology standards,
- frameworks, principles and roadmaps for TIBCO landscape to be used throughout the IT
- organization to guide technology decisions and leverage efficiency opportunities. Drives design
- for a secure, efficient, and adaptable future state model. Ensures that new projects and
- migrations are in alignment with the IT capital budget, project portfolio, and IT/enterprise strategic goals.
- Researches and recommends opportunities to adopt new landscape technologies. Analyzes the impact of implementing new technologies into the IT infrastructure.
- Proactively researches IT TIBCO landscape related enterprise architecture best practices and methodologies
- Assists Solution Architects, and Project Managers in managing licensing , matching technology services to specific business service.
- Identifies and leverages opportunities across IT departments to ensure a consistent and efficient infrastructure framework.
- Leads , Educates and guides engineers and other TIBCO/Integration tool admins on the vision and
- use cases of specific solutions within the Enterprise Architecture portfolio.
- Develops and participates in the governance of Enterprise Architecture principles and framework
- to assure compliance to the EA strategy and that exceptions are well justified and documented
- through a formal waiver process. Analyzes the impact of exceptions and its effect on future IT and enterprise goals.
- Prioritize landscape needs to support requirements for inclusion in the software development
- phase using plan-driven (traditional) and change-driven (iterative and agile) techniques
- Maintain and keep landscape artefacts like diagrams, licensing numbers etc. Updated.
- Drive Special projects as assigned.
- Additional Duties:
- Maintains awareness of current practices and future trends in application integration technology and
- best practices.
- Represents IT Integrations landscape team during reviews with other Infra teams..
- Performs other duties as requested.
Following are essential: - Experience Managing IT landscape application integrations especially around integration middleware
- such as Tibco, Informatica, APIGEE, or any Cloud Integration tools.
- Experience in working with admin tools like TIBCO admin , EMS queue , certificate configurations etc.
- Very good understanding of various integration patterns and knowledge of the right technology use for those patterns
- Strong understanding and implementation practices around Agile/SCRUM.
- Understanding issues surrounding data security and best practices for balancing availability with security.
- Very good knowledge of any of the following technology stack either on-premise or cloud
- Tibco Business Works, Tibco Hawk, Tibco Admin, Tibco EMS, Tibco Business Connect, Tibco
- Managed File Transfer
- Understanding of APIGEE Platform features, API Facades using APIGEE, Develop REST API,
- and API Security
- Hands on experience on Integration Security like Firewalls, Encryption, Secret Management
- (Azure Key Vault, Hashicorp, GCP KMS), etc.
- Good understanding of Cloud Database like BigQuery and CloudSQL
- Strong written and oral communication skills (including ability to present ideas in user friendly,
- business-friendly and technical language) and interpersonal skills with a focus on rapport-building,
- listening and questioning skills.
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities, including ability to anticipate, identify, and solve critical problems.
- Ability to build effective relationships and strong commitment to working collegially and
- collaboratively with constituents at all levels in a diverse and distributed environment.
- Additional/Desirable Skills & Abilities
- Strong foundational knowledge of software development and familiarity with various technologies,
- such as CI/CD, PowerShell , Jenkins , AzureDevops, Java, RESTful APIs, PL/SQL, XML, XSLT, Python,
- Node.js, JSON, TypeScript or JavaScript with API-first approach.
- Familiar with common types of connectivity solutions (FTP/Secure FTP), VPN and different file formats
- (fixed length, delimited, XML, JSON, X12) used in application integrations.
- Good understanding of API security, including OAuth, JSON Web Tokens, and federated identity.
- Good understating of network security
- Awareness of software development and project management methodologies and best practices
- from requirements gathering through quality assurance.
- Knowledge of relational database concepts and design principles.
